Phase One
The Theoretical Foundation
Days 1–5 · Virtual · Live on Zoom
Five days of interactive Zoom sessions establishing the theoretical foundations of holistic skin health.
Day 1
The Skin as a Biological Mirror: Internal Influences
Establishes the founding premise: the skin is an external reflection of the body's internal balance. Explores the Gut–Skin–Brain Axis, hormonal health, emotional states such as stress and grief, and how health-compromising issues affect skin appearance and vitality — giving practitioners the tools to identify internal triggers behind breakouts, sensitivities and premature aging.
Day 2
Advanced Skin Analysis and Holistic Forecasting
Moves beyond basic skin typing into advanced analysis and holistic forecasting. Students learn to assess conditions, understand their progression and predict future skin needs — developing an eye for subtle patterns so treatments can be customised with precision and foresight.
Day 3
The Science of the Bounce Back Factor
A core pillar of the training: the skin's inherent resilience and elastic recovery. Deep study of the biochemistry of the lipid barrier and the acid mantle, the role of the epidermal–dermal connection in structural integrity, and esthetic strategies to restore a compromised barrier.
Day 4
Bespoke Protocol Design and Bio-Individuality
Creating customised protocols that account for a client's genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors. Includes in-depth ingredient awareness — discerning professional-grade holistic topicals from traditional synthetic formulations — and drafting 90-day roadmaps that integrate herbalism with advanced esthetic science.
Day 5
The Inside+Out Strategy for Persistent Skin Imbalances
Addressing persistent imbalances including acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation. Practitioners learn to complement external esthetic services with wellness nutrition insights and lifestyle modifications, working through complex case studies from a systemic perspective.
Phase Two
The Professional Practicum
Days 6–10 · On-site · Spa practicum
Five days of hands-on practicum at a designated spa facility, mastering advanced manual techniques and integrative protocols.
Day 6
The Art of the Holistic Client Assessment
Mastery of the professional client intake process. Practitioners learn to facilitate high-value consultations that communicate the depth of the holistic approach, set realistic expectations for the Inside+Out journey, and establish long-term practitioner–client relationships.
Day 7
Releasing Distressed Skin through Myofascial Release
The physical release of distressed skin through Myofascial Release (MFR). Understanding facial fascia and muscle memory, students learn manual techniques to release deep-seated tension contributing to fine lines and stagnant circulation — sculpting and lifting the face for immediate, visible results.
Day 8
Enhancing Skin Clarity through Advanced Massage Techniques
Advanced massage techniques supporting skin clarity and post-treatment recovery. Manual methods to reduce puffiness, encourage cellular renewal and enhance radiance — essential for nurturing clients with reactive or distressed skin profiles.
Day 9
Mastery of Integrative Treatment Execution
Students synthesise holistic skin science and manual skill by executing a full 90-minute Integrative Holistic Protocol, integrating advanced esthetic tools within the holistic framework. Peer-to-peer practical sessions allow real-time feedback and refinement.
Day 10
Business Integration and Certification
The professional application of the HSC certification: pricing strategies for high-ticket holistic services, marketing the Inside+Out philosophy, and building a sustainable consulting practice. Concludes with a practical assessment, theory examination and formal certification ceremony.
